We spent this past weekend in Florida visiting Paul's Opa. It was wonderful to be able to visit with Opa and watch him enjoy the girls. Opa was so sweet to hold their baby dolls and let them throw his golf balls around. ;) Unfortunately, Natalie was running a fever the entire time we were there--you'll notice a pacifier in lots of pictures. We just kept giving her Advil and Tylenol and she did pretty well considering how crummy she felt. Poor baby! Here are bunches of pictures to show you some of the fun things we did...
We got one smile out of our sweet Natalie!
Chillin' with Daddy at the beach
(Do you see the sticker on H's sunglasses lens? (see pic above)
Well, she has had these particular sunglasses for months but chose to keep the sticker on them.
She wanted to be able to distinguish her sunglasses from Natalie's.
I NEVER thought she should leave the sticker on this long.
She can't even leave stickers on bananas at the grocery store.
But months later...her sunglasses still have a sticker)
Fun in the sand!
Not so much fun...
Pole dancing? ;)
We also got to visit a place called "Butterfly World".
The butterflies, flowers and birds were really, really beautiful.
Paul and I were skeptical that it would be worth our time and money...but it was!
The girls' favorite part was probably running across bridges, through misting archways and along the paths lined with beautiful foliage.
I have a million pics of flowers...they were GORGEOUS.
I thought this one was particularly amazing.
The butterflies were beautiful!
The girls were terrified of them at first.
Seriously, they were shrieking and flinching.
They relaxed eventually...
Hannah was very brave and helped me feed the lorikeets.
She was still and calm when they landed on her arm.
If you ask Hannah what her favorite part about Butterfly World was...
she will tell you about the park just outside of Butterfly World
that had a beautiful field full of flowers.
This little girl loves nothing more than flowers, lots of them and being allowed to pick them!
