Look who came to visit us for Thanksgiving!
That's right! My dear friend and roommate from college, Kristen, came to visit us. She is a professor at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, TX. Like me, she is far away from family and so we were thankful that she came to spend 3 days with us over her break. And look who Kristen brought with her!

The girls LOVED having Copper and Emily (Kristen's dogs) come for a visit too.
After they left, Hannah sighed sadly and said "It's awfully quiet around here now."
Our sweet friends, the Hohimers, allowed us to crash their Thanksgiving Feast-- last minute. I have great memories of eating Thanksgiving dinner with them when I was super preggo with Hannah.

Thank you for your hospitality. It was great to spend Thanksgiving with all of you! :) All the excitement tired Copper and Emily right out. They've both been sleeping almost nonstop since we got home.
