Awesome Creator...

"For You formed my inward parts;

You wove me in my mother's womb.

I will give thanks to You,

for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Wonderful are Your works,

And my soul knows it very well.

My frame was not hidden from You,

When I was made in secret,

And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;

And in Your book were all written

The days that were ordained for me,

When as yet there was not one of them...."

Psalm 139: 13-16

I was reminded this week by a child, nonetheless, about how AWESOME our Creator God is! This particular child had the opportunity to hold sweet Natalie. Later that day when his mother saw him with tears in his eyes, she asked him why he was crying. I can't remember his exact words...but he told her something like this.... he thought it was incredible that God had "done that"....in creating little Natalie. He gave God the glory!!! This was a good reminder and lesson to me. Yes, I was incredibly thankful all along for the gift of a beautiful, healthy baby girl. But I didn't take time to thank and PRAISE my Heavenly Father for who He Is....the awesome Creator and Giver of Life!

"Stand up and praise the Lord your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be Your glorious name and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord......You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship You."
