For the 3rd year in a row I had the privilege to run The Chosen (Half) Marathon with my precious, precious Kim and Mary. The race was actually 3 weeks ago but I haven't gotten around to posting til now. I love this race for its beautiful location, the smallish (but not too small) size of the race and even more for the reason we run. The money raised goes to help families adopt children! And it is such a joy to share my love of running with my sweet girlfriends. Some may remember that last year I did not finish this race. I ended up in an ambulance and then the hospital at mile 12. But this year I crossed the finish line. It was my 2nd slowest half ever (2:00:50)...but I finished! I never thought I could be so happy about that!
