In mid-February two very special friends from college came to San Antonio for a visit! Kristen had a conference in town and Jill flew in to visit both of us!!! Kristen brought Copper along and the girls were thrilled! While Kristen attended conference events on Friday, Jill and I took the girls to the Rodeo carnival for some rides, a show and cotton candy :-) Jill was such a trooper to ride those crazy spinning rides with them. (barf!) On Saturday and Sunday we all spent time at home just hanging out and talking. But one of the highlights of the weekend was going out for dinner and a little bit of shopping on Saturday evening. Kristen had to head home Sunday afternoon for work the next day. Jill stayed through Monday (my birthday!) and graciously helped me watch my friend's daughters who I was taking care of for 24 hours while they were on a retreat. It was a little crazy--but fun. A birthday weekend I will not soon forget!
