Hannah, Natalie and I just spent an incredible week learning about how to trust God no matter where we are or what happens in our lives. We were learning along with 293 elementary kids, 81 preschoolers, 41 babies, 131 youth volunteers & 152 adult volunteers at our church. Each day the kids went to crafts, games, snacks, Bible Adventures & Chadder's Theater. I was a crew guide for 8 wonderful kids! My favorite part of being a crew guide is just loving on the kids and getting to know them. I also love the times of worship in the sanctuary and the drama presentations that they do in Bible Adventures. The highlight of my week was being able to pray with a little girl on Friday who accepted Christ.
We are so thankful that we had a chance to be a part of this incredible week at Wayside! The time, energy and love that was put into the week was immeasurable!
Hannah said that her favorite part of VBS was snack time & worship in the sanctuary with the "Praise Pilots". Natalie's favorite part of the week was spending every day with her friend, Ali.
