Sweet Natalie June! My sweet little ballerina!
You are "officially" two and a half now and becoming such a big girl!
-Just this morning you handed me your pacifier when you woke up and said "I no need this. I a big kid." Although, you are still VERY attached to that pacifier when you sleep.
-You are talking up a storm. Hannah & Mommy are definitely your best translators...you have begun to string together very long sentences and tell little stories. You have this cute way of pausing between each word. Daddy thinks you are just trying to speak clearly so that we will understand each and every word you say ;-)
-You are completely potty-trained (during the day) and have been for about 3 months. You really did this by yourself. You rarely have an accident. I'm seriously amazed by it!
-You love your sister tons and are lonely when she is not around. You also love your friend, Ali. You talk about her ALL THE TIME. Even though we haven't seen her lots lately.
-You have a great memory! Yesterday you were wearing your "sparkly tutu" and told me the story of how Daddy took you on an adventure where a lady made the sparkly tutu just for you. You also reminded me that I didn't come with you, Hannah and Daddy because I went running with my friend, Gigi, that day. And all of this was true! You remembered a lot of details ;-)
-You are sweet and cuddly and mostly easy-going. You like to give hugs to your teachers and friends. Although you are usually laid back you CAN be stubborn and willful as all get-out when you want to be.
-You usually sleep about 11 hours at night and nap for 2 hours in the middle of the day. Most days I have to get you out of bed after nap time. Sometimes you are still asleep...other times you just like to lie there sucking on your pacifier since it is the only place where your paci is "allowed".
-You like to dress yourself and can do it for the most part. Sometimes your clothes get put on backwards or inside out....oh well! It also makes for some very, very interesting outfits. For the last month you have mostly worn leotards and tutus. ;-)
-You are pretty fearless when it comes to climbing on or jumping off of or into anything...I think you are trying hard to keep up with Hannah.
-You love books! Fancy Nancy is currently a favorite...or Thomas the Tank Engine ...or anything with Elmo in it. You love to have a book read and then ask me to read it over and over and OVER again. I'm so glad you love books!
