Hannah, Natalie & I got to spend our mornings at church this past week learning all about God's Word and God's Love on a High Seas Expedition! I know that Hannah and I had a blast even if Natalie didn't. Actually she did reasonably well on 3 days.... I was so excited for Hannah to experience a little bit of VBS. She would come home each day and sing, dance and play "VBS Music" as she called it. Her absolute favorite song is "Hallelujah"....you know the one that goes "Shake a friends hand, shake a hand next to ya, Shake a friends hand......"? It is so cute to see her dancing around the living room singing it! I was SERIOUSLY impressed with how Wayside does VBS! I had the privilege of being a crew leader for some 5th grade girls. They were sweet, wonderful little ladies and I really didn't have to work at all! I just got to "experience" VBS right along with them! It was a great experience--all of it! The drama, the teaching, the games, the crafts, the snacks, the music... We learned that God's word is true, comforting, surprising, life-changing and for EVERYONE! Hannah and I are already looking forward to next year!

VBS

Oh, Hannah is getting so big! I loved going to VBS when I was young. :)
