Hannah has been trapped at home for several days with a terrible cold. So today we walked to Target to buy some watercolors. She has been begging me for paints to use with her "elephant apron" that we made last week. It was a gorgeous day for a long walk and we needed to get out of the house! I think Hannah spent at least an hour and a half painting today. She would've used up an entire ream of paper if I would've allowed it.

The pictures are gorgeous, but before I even read the post, the apron caught my eye. I was going to ask about it, and then I read that you MADE IT??? Awesome!
well...."made" the apron is rather inaccurate, i suppose! I do not own a sewing machine or claim to know how to use one very well....so we bought the little red apron and iron-on elephant at Hobby Lobby for a grand total of $5.00! so, um....yeah....i ironed an elephant onto a little apron......that's about as good as it gets with me...but hannah loves it! she thinks I made her an elephant apron!
Hannah is quite a little artist! I think she looks like your sister in that one picture.
Well as long as you're a sewing hero to Hannah, that's what matters. It's a great idea even if you didn't do the actual sewing, and it turned out SO cute
