Fiesta San Antonio!

For the past two weeks San Antonio celebrated Fiesta! For all my non-San Antonio readers...Fiesta is a big holiday here in town. There are tons of fairs, parties and parades! The schools even have a holiday on the last Friday of Fiesta for Battle of the Flowers. The first weekend of Fiesta was kind of rainy but this past weekend was GORGEOUS! So Paul and I decided that we would like to try another part of the festivities. Each year that we have lived here in San Antonio we have tried a different Fiesta event. And I think this might be my favorite so far! We went to the King William Fair. We love the King William District already with its beautiful old historic homes. We sampled some yummy food like sausage on a stick, brisket & mushroom tacos, funnel cake and kettle corn. There were tons of artisans with booths and if we hadn't had two little ones with us I might have done a little shopping! It was just fun to be out and about on such a gorgeous day!

Paul & Hannah chatting with an artisan at one of the booths...
Natalie was there, too!
What is more fun at Fiesta than.....
Digging in the dirt?
Or...
Jumping over the cracks in the sidewalks?
Obviously, Hannah would've been happy if we had just walked out our front door and let her play outside...
