Some of you probably can't believe that I'm posting for a 2nd day in a row! Yes, it is amazing....keeping up with everything has been much more difficult than I imagined it would be. I'm hoping that as Hannah becomes a happier baby, I can find more time to blog.
Well, she is 3 months old today. This last month has been SO much better than the first two. Hannah's smiles are many now and that alone makes being a mom very fun! Hannah has been practicing holding her head up the last couple of weeks. I never gave her "tummy time" before her 2 month birthday because I was afraid she would throw up all her milk. When she couldn't lift her head AT ALL during her 2 month checkup...her pediatrician suggested we start trying it more. So here is a picture of Hannah strengthening her neck muscles :)
She is doing so many other things...she has begun to drool like crazy in the last few days. If I leave her in her vibrating chair, I will look at her 10 minutes later only to discover the front half of her onesie is SOAKING wet! And not because she spit up either! She almost always has her hands in her mouth these days. Sometimes she likes to stick her entire hand into her mouth and stick it so far back that she gags. She often has something in her hand that she brings to her mouth...things like burp cloths or blankets. I don't know if she knows that she is holding them or not...but she is able to bring them to her mouth. I've also noticed that she is watching her feet and hands a lot. She also has started "talking." At least we like to think so....sometimes when I talk to her or talk on the phone she will start making sounds. She loves to interact with us and knows if we are not giving her our undivided attention. Paul and I love watching her grow and develop! We feel so blessed to have our little Hannah and are looking forward to what the next 3 months will bring!
