Jill and Jonathan took us on a whirlwind of amazing adventures. I fell in love with the city of St. Louis! I can't WAIT to go back...and there is SO MUCH for kids to do!
We went to see the arch - of course! |

proof that I saw the St Louis Arch, too! |
Down below the arch there was a cool (and free!) museum that we enjoyed. |
The girls loved looking at all the "old-fashioned stuff" as they called it. |
Looking at the setup inside the teepee. |
Later that day we had a lovely picnic lunch at a beautiful city park with lots of water to play in. |
After fun in the sun and water at the park we headed to the City Museum in St. Louis. Wow! is all I can say about this place! It was floor after floor of fun things to do. There was an adventure to be had at every turn. Seriously! There were kids crawling out of tunnels in the walls and through caves, climbing on trees and sliding down slides.
The girls climbing a tree |
The girls riding the train (If you peak behind the vertical red bars behind them you may see people crawling in that tunnel/space.) |
The girls painted for a while (There was a room behind them where someone was teaching how to make snowflakes) |
There was a "circus" in the museum where we saw a fun juggling act. |
The girls trying the steepest slide I've ever seen or tried. It was basically a metal wall ;-) |
Here is a snapshot of some structures outside that you could climb on...an airplane, school bus (look at the roof!) |
The girls loved the huge "chain". If Natalie hadn't hurt her leg...and been so exhausted... I think we could've spent 10 more hours playing at City Museum. Can't wait to go back! |
Jill took us to see her plot at the garden. She let the girls help her pick tomatoes, carrots and green peppers. |
Hannah was proud to pick her carrot. |
On this beautiful day, J & J took us to see the beautiful botanical gardens in St. Louis. |
The girls had a blast in the "Children's Garden" part of the botanical gardens. |
sliding... |
shopping... |
keeping shop... |
getting wet... |
making music... |

more climbing... |
We found a flock of sheep when we left the children's area |
Can you find the girls in this beautiful garden? |
Aahhhh.... |
I think I took 300 pics of the gardens....just look at this color. |

On our way out of the gardens... |
With all the fun we had out and about...we enjoyed some down time at J and J's condo also. |
I'm so thankful for our time together! Love you, Jill and Jonathan! |

What fun! I've been to the arch when we're driven though there, but that's all.
