Swim Team

Hannah is swimming on a swim team for the first time this year. After 4 weeks of practice the team had their first meet on Saturday. Hannah swam freestyle and backstroke. She came in 2nd place in her heat on freestyle and 4th place in her heat on backstroke.  Four weeks ago I'm pretty sure she couldn't swim the entire length of the pool.  She LOVES swim team practices. Funny thing is, they spend a lot of the time waiting in line for their turn to swim. Then they jump in, swim their lap, and repeat. Not terribly fun or exciting in my opinion. But she is SUPER excited to go each night. And she is getting better each day! We are so proud of our big girl!
