Hannah had her first violin recital this afternoon. She was so brave and went up on stage to play and sing 5 little songs and pieces. She was part of the "Pre-Twinkle" group. She told me that she was a little bit nervous but that it was kind of fun to play on the stage in the recital hall. It was great to be on campus at UTSA where I did my masters degree-- nice to be in the music building again. And even to reminisce how I had stood on the same stage 7 and 8 years ago to play and sing juries.

Mrs. Crappell giving them some last minute instructions.
Almost time to begin!
Playing her "bread" part on Twinkle Variation A
Here she is playing Pop Goes the Weasel. In this piece they only plucked- no bows!
Proud Papa with his girls!
So proud of my girl!
All done! Off to get some frozen custard to celebrate :-)
Natalie (4 years old) was my videographer for the recital. So keep that in mind when you click on these links if you want to hear Hannah play.
