Hannah had her first day of kindergarten today! She is going to a university model school where they are in a traditional classroom on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will do homeschool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I'm so thankful that, at least for the time being, I still get to spend lots and lots of time with my sweet girl. I was a little bit nervous about how she would feel about me leaving this morning when the time came. But she was so excited and brave! She gave me a quick hug and a big smile and didn't look back.
Hannah told me she had a GREAT day and can't wait to go back on Tuesday. Her favorite part of the day was "Handwriting" Ha! She's such a girl. I'm guessing none of the boys in her class would say that. ;-) I actually think that her favorite part of handwriting was that she got to draw a picture in her journal. She LOVES to draw right now. She adores her teacher, too! Mrs. Boss (yes, that is really her name!) said "Hannah is SUCH a smart and kind girl!"
