Hannah and I got to attend the Nutcracker tonight! We made a Mommy-Daughter date of it...starting at Taco Cabana for dinner. Hannah's favorite dinner? A bean and cheese taco with chocolate milk. She is pretty easy to please!
We both enjoyed the ballet very much. I must say that Hannah approached this year's performance a little more critically. Last year every part of the ballet was magical to her. This year Hannah informed me that the ONLY parts she liked were the Dew Drop Fairy and the Sugar Plum Fairy. I'm not sure if that is quite accurate...but she was a little more "antsy" during the performance than last year. It could be because we went to a 7:30 pm show instead of an afternoon one. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time and I'm hoping that Natalie can come along next year!
