Today Paul and I are rejoicing in 9 years of marriage! I am beyond blessed to have him by my side. Paul is sweet, romantic, hard-working, super-smart, an amazing father, the list could go on and on... What more could a girl want?! Seriously. Sometimes, I kick myself...is it real? Are all these blessings mine? I'm so, so thankful. God has blessed our family beyond measure. I pray that no matter the journey we take...that it will be together and glorifying to our Heavenly Father.
We got to celebrate our anniversary a little bit early while we were in Minnesota last week. Paul's parents graciously agreed to care for our girls for 24 hours while we "escaped" for a kid-free celebration. We spent the time by Christmas shopping a bit, watching the movie Hugo in 3D (pic above) and going out for a nice dinner at The Roasted Pear (yum!). Paul booked a room at The Archer House in Northfield, MN. It is a quaint, historic inn along the river. We enjoyed relaxing, going for a jog together in the morning and then eating at Chapati, a fabulous Indian restaurant, for lunch.
