Hannah always has lots to say! She is full of ideas, opinions and an imagination. I often laugh at the silly things she says throughout the day. I promised myself I would keep track of them....so here are few from the last month or so.
Yesterday on the way home from church....
Me: Hannah, what did you learn about in your class today? (glance at her "take home" paper) Did you learn about the story of Cain & Abel?
H: You can just read my paper if ya wanna know what I did today.
(Seriously?! Isn't that the response of at least a middle-schooler? )
The other week we drove through a small rain storm...
H: I think that God has a water gun up in heaven to make the rain.
Me: That's an interesting thought....
H: And I'll bet He (God) has a flashlight to make the sunlight....
(can you tell we've been playing with flashlights and water guns since our family vacation last month? I LOVE the mind of a three year old!)
I found a bug crawling across the carpet in our house a few weeks ago and killed it.
H: Bugs don't like to be killed because they think they're beautiful. But people think they're gross.
Sometimes if I workout in the morning I don't manage to get showered and dressed until almost lunchtime. Several weeks ago...
H: Mama, is that the outfit you put on after your shower?
Me: Yes
H: Well....it DOESN'T look good. When I pick out outfits I always make sure I have pink shirts to go with the pink in my skirt...so they match...and look good together.
HA!

Oh how I wished we lived closer! Reading your blog makes me think Addison and Hannah would get along so well! They seem a lot alike to me. Hope you guys are doing well. Your girls are beautiful!
How precious her thoughts and ideas...I hope she never loses her spunk and creativity...
Love, Aunt Beth
lOh Julie- They say the funniest tings at this age. She reminds me of matthew when he was little. The thinigs that he says were just at the right time. God knew I needed to be lifted up.- Lori Granato
