Last Friday was my birthday. I must admit that Hannah is SO MUCH more into birthdays this year and it made MY day more fun :-) Even though Hannah was sick she reminded me about every 5 minutes, all day, that it was my birthday :-) How can you NOT have a great day if a sweet little three year old is wishing you one all day!?! I felt blessed to talk to friends and family on the phone and to open a few presents and go out to dinner. Paul even spoiled me with an ice cream cake and my favorite bottle of wine after dinner. And I must say, even facebook made me feel the love! Is that silly or what?! I have always been skeptical of wishing people "facebook happy birthdays." Mostly because I forget to check who has a birthday and follow up on it....but it was nice to have so many people "remember" last Friday! On Tuesday night, to continue my birthday celebration, Paul took me to see Wicked. It was fabulous! I loved every second of it and could break into song at any moment! Even though I'm approaching 40 much more quickly than I'd like, I have to say that this was a pretty great birthday!
