Crazy for clothes

Ok. Is this just a stage?!? Or is it a girl thing?! Or is it just my Hannah?

This little girl is CRAZY about clothes. A sweet friend dropped off a box of hand-me-downs the other day for Natalie. While I was cooking dinner Hannah dumped the contents on the living room floor and spent at least an hour putting outfits together and just generally having fun sifting through the clothes. She tried a few on. But really, she was content to touch, sort and admire the clothes. This is a little girl who wears 3 outfits a day on average. I no longer like to do laundry in her presence because if she sees something she likes in a pile of dirty clothes....she throws a fit because she wants to wear it. AND if I'm folding and putting away clean laundry, well, she sees lots of new, clean "potential outfits" and wants to put them on immediately! I definitely like clothes...but I'm not crazy about them. Not the way my sister and some other friends are. I hardly ever go clothes shopping. I don't know where she has gotten this obsession--definitely not from me. It is pretty cute most of the time but I hope it doesn't last terribly long...or she'll be getting a part-time job at age 10.
