Sweetly sleeping babe...
Paul's parents flew down to spend the last 5 days of January with us. We enjoyed their visit SO MUCH! We were sad to see them leave on Monday morning. This was the first time they met Natalie and she got tons of cuddling. She hardly cried at all because there was always someone to hold her....except in the car seat of course! Why is it that my babies hate the car seat? It is so dangerous for me to be driving around town with a howling infant in the backseat--It makes me want to cry and scream and go crazy! Anyway, I'm getting off track here...... Hannah was blessed to get lots of extra attention also. Oma got up early with Hannah every morning so Paul and I could be lazy or sleep in. On Thursday we got to visit the Witte Museum for the first time and had a blast! They have a fun circus exhibit and we also really enjoyed the science treehouse. We took a quick peak at other exhibits in the museum but were losing Hannah at that point! Since it was a cold, rainy day there weren't many people out and about so there was no one in line for the Sky Cycle at the treehouse. All of us adults took a ride! It was a little frightening, in my opinion, but fun too! We ate at two of our favorite restaurants over the weekend also! Guillermo's Deli (downtown) and Mela (our favorite Indian place). Yum!!!! We took a long walk at the park and played at the playground. Paul and I got to sneak away for a movie in the theater while Oma & Opa babysat! It was a huge blessing to have that time to ourselves. I'm telling you....we have the BEST parents EVER! Paul and Hannah joined his parents one day for a trip down to Corpus Christi to visit a friend. Natalie and I got to spend a relaxing day at home--just the two of us! Thank you for a wonderful visit! We love you guys and can't wait to see you again!
