"The Tids" (translation: the kids!)

I have been so blessed over the past year to teach these three wonderful students. I had the opportunity to work with them last fall in the big Christmas production that we did at church. They began taking singing/music lessons after Christmas. The day that they come for their lesson is definitely a highlight of the week for Hannah and I. They are such sweet and gifted kids for me to teach...a dream come true for any teacher. And Hannah just thinks they are the best thing ever...she ADORES them. If I mention that they are coming before her nap begins, she will not take one...because she doesn't want to miss out! So, I never remind her that it is lesson day. She is always shaken out of her "after-nap-grumps" quickly when she realizes who is at our house. They sweetly play with her after their lesson every week. She fondly calls them "The Kids" but has recently been talking about them by name individually. Ben has been playing the drum at lessons lately. Last weekend, Hannah started to bang on her drums and chant a rhythm like "strawberry pie" . Then she grinned at me and said, "like Ben!". It is amazing to hear what she picks up...
