Big Girl Bed!

For the past week Hannah has been sleeping in her toddler bed! Bedtimes have gone pretty well...I guess she is pretty tired by the end of the day and is willing to give up easily. All week long, while she slept continuously during the night...she was only doing about 9 or 10 hours each night. BUT last night she slept for 11 hours! I hope the trend continues..... Naps have been a little more challenging.... The first day she napped "in" her toddler bed I must have carried a sobbing Hannah back to her bed at least 25 times. But that day she finally cried herself to sleep on the floor (poor thing!) and napped there for about an hour. Since then nap time is still pretty dramatic with her running down the hallway and crying when I put her back in bed.....but she eventually gives in and falls asleep IN THE BED! Hooray! She is very, very proud of her bed....and proud of herself for sleeping in it...but only when she wakes up...not when it is time to start sleeping in it. The one thing that seems to help a little bit is allowing her to take books into bed. We did this in her crib also. She likes to pick a book or two to "read to her Ellie" in bed.
