Here are a few shots from Easter weekend....I know they are WAY overdue.....it was such a busy weekend of celebrating! It was Paul's birthday on Good Friday and our sweet friend, Kate, watched Hannah so Paul could come to the communion service at our church that evening. It was a beautiful service with full orchestra, choir, narration and candlelight. I loved it because we were all behind a black curtain. None of the musicians were seen! The purpose of the black curtain was so that people would focus on the words of the narration and the text of the songs which reflected Christ's sacrifice and not who or what was going on up on stage. Afterwards, Paul and I went on a quick birthday date to the Melting Pot for chocolate fondue! Yum! We actually got two pots of it!! And no, we couldn't finish the second one.... Saturday was another busy day with a neighborhood picnic and egg hunt and then a rehearsal and service to play in at church for me. Sunday was more special music at church...both playing and rehearsing kids for Mother's day singing.... We ate Easter dinner with our friends the Lozadas and Gardiners. Bethany and Pablo hosted and had the most fabulous dinner ever! Wow! Bethany even made an egg hunt for Hannah! Hannah had no competition as she searched for probably 20 eggs filled with stickers! She loved it! I know I'm just rambling along...and I'm sure I'm missing some stuff...but it was a full weekend of celebrating! I'm so thankful for Christ's sacrifice and that HE IS RISEN!
Cold day for an egg hunt in our neighborhood park....her first egg hunt ever.
Playing with shoes and rocks....two of her favorite things!

Oh, I love the third picture where she's reaching out with the yellow egg. :)
