Is it terrible to treasure a time when all Hannah wanted to do was lay her head on my shoulder? Even if it was because she was running a temperature of 103.3 and had a sore throat? This past weekend we were out of town on a retreat with friends from church. Hannah didn't act like herself or eat well on Saturday. Late that evening I finally took her temperature and confirmed that she was truly sick. She seemed much better the next morning but Sunday evening the fever returned so we were off to the doctor on Monday morning. Hannah's pediatrician confirmed that it was viral pharyngitis and said she should be good to go in another day or two.(Dear friends I'm so sorry if I contaminated your babes!!!)
